Dossier Documents

I spoke with our Family Coordinator at American World (AWA) today. It was good to finally sit down & go through each document needed for our "Dossier to make sure that we were both on the same page. Right now we are currently waiting for our approval of our Immigration fingerprints. B & I went to the immigration's office on March 27th and they say it can take up to 3 months to receive your approval in the mail. I think it is so crazy that there is no way to track this information! So another time in my life where I lay it at the Lord's feet and truly rest that He has it all under control. Below I have enclosed the list of all of the documents that make up what is called our "Dossier". Once I have all of the documents listed below completed, notarized & approved then we will make 3 copies of all the documents. AWA will receive 2 of those copies; 1 will be all the originals & the other one will be a copy for them. The 3rd copy will stay with us and this is the copy that we will take with us when we travel to Ethiopia. Once our completed "Dossier" is received by AWA then we will be assigned a "Family Waiting Number" AWA will then process & review our "Dossier" and translate it to Aramaic and send it to Ethiopia 2-3 weeks later. We will then be given a "DTE" date, which stands for Dossier to Ethiopia. From there we wait for a referral of a baby boy. This is taking anywhere from 7-10 months from DTE. It is so exciting to rest in knowing that the Lord has gone before us preparing us & our baby for every step of the way.

Now I need to finish the last few things on my list below so that when the Immigration approval comes in the mail we can send our "Dossier" to AWA that day!!!
